Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC)

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) at Late G. N. Sapkal College of Engineering is committed to fostering an entrepreneurial culture among students. The EDC aims to develop entrepreneurial skills, mindset, and competencies required to start and manage successful ventures.

EDC Activities

  • Entrepreneurship awareness programs and seminars

  • Business plan competitions and startup pitching events
  • Workshops on business development and financial planning
  • Industrial visits and exposure to startup ecosystems

Startup Ecosystem

The EDC works in close coordination with the Innovation & Incubation Cell to provide a complete ecosystem for aspiring entrepreneurs. Students are guided through the process of ideation, validation, prototyping, and market launch.

Workshops & Training

The EDC regularly conducts workshops on topics such as digital marketing, financial literacy, legal aspects of business, intellectual property rights, and government schemes for startups. These workshops equip students with practical knowledge and skills needed to succeed as entrepreneurs.
