The department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Engineering have started in the A.Y. 2023-24 with intake capacity of 60. Department has excellent infrastructure and human resources.The institute's AIDS department has well-equipped laboratories. Students are given highly configured computer systems and well-organized classrooms to do lab activities. The department has a diverse group of well qualified and experienced faculty members with specialized areas of expertise to help students academically.
Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AIDS) is a multidisciplinary field of science, engineering, and technology. AIDS is the future of technology which are rapidly changing the world at very high rate. The foundation of artificial intelligence lies in the idea that human intelligence can be described in a way that makes it easy for a machine to replicate and perform tasks, ranging from extremely basic to extremely complex. A "concept to unify statistics, data analysis and their related methods" is called data science, and it is used with data to "understand and analyze actual phenomena". It makes use of methods and ideas from a variety of disciplines in the context of information science, computer science, statistics, domain knowledge, and mathematics.
The main objectives of this course are to prepare students for the next wave of artificial intelligence and analytics, which will impact human lives by enhancing human capabilities and increasing efficiency. This will also have a significant impact on consumer products by influencing significant advancements in the manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and retail industries.
