Induction Program

An Induction Program for students was organized by AIDS department at the commencement of semester 1 at 1.30 pm on July 1, 2024. With a strong purpose to introduce the students to an experience that will make them comfortable in an all-new environment the said program was organized. It teaches them the code and values of the institution, help them build bonds with other students and faculty members and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self exploration. Induction is a well planned event to educate the new students about the environment in a particular institution and connect them with the people in it. The new students learn about the institutional policies, processes, practices, culture and values. HOD(AIDS) Prof. S. R. Baji delivered an inspirational speech in which she guided the students about goal setting and enlightening the students about the various opportunities provided by the college for the student’s growth. She Further added, with a speech about curriculum and placement. She motivated the students with her experience and how to utilize the facilities available and create opportunity. She also advised the students to update themselves with recent technologies as they would be learning about them in the curriculum. Further the course syllabus was explained along with the subject CO, POs to the students by respective subject teachers. The briefs about Audit course, extra activities like NPTEL courses, student’s activities were given by Prof. S. D. Bagade. Idea about different structures of In-Sem and End-Sem examinations was given by Prof. M. N. Jadhav. Student were made aware regarding university attendance criteria. Outcome of the Event is Students became aware of the department and departmental activities, Link for syllabus is provided to the students.

Career Guidance Session on “Domain Selection”

Kalyani Charitable Trust’s LATE. G. N. SAPKAL COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Engineering Department organized a Career Guidance Session on “Domain Selection” Conducted by Mr. Vivek Agarwal. The session began with a brief introduction of guest, welcoming all students and emphasizing the importance of thoughtful domain selection. Objectives of program is to provide students with comprehensive information about various domains available for specialization, To assist students in making informed decisions by understanding their interests, strengths, and career aspirations, To present insights into career opportunities and growth prospects associated with different domains, To know the educational pathways required to pursue different domains effectively. A presentation highlighted and Mr. Vivek Discussed how domain selection impacts career opportunities and personal growth. The session covered popular domains such as Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Robotics, Cloud Computing, Data Analysis and Visualization, Big Data Analytics,Web Development, Predictive Analytics, etc. He explained Each domain in terms of career prospects, skills required, and educational pathways. Also discussed current trends, job market demands, and opportunities within their respective.

Fundamentals of Data Structure and Hands-on Python Programming

Kalyani Charitable Trust’s LATE. G. N. SAPKAL COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Department organized workshop on “Fundamentals of Data Structure and Hands-on Python Programming” Conducted by Prof. Anand N. Gharu. The session began with a brief introduction of guest, welcoming expert of workshop Prof. Anand N. Gharu and all students and emphasizing the subject Fundamentals of Data Structures. A presentation highlighted and Prof. Anand N. Gharu Discussed syntax of pythons Programming Language. The session covered and Students learned Many points such as syntax of python programming, basic programs of python, detail about FDS subject. He also discussed how to compile and run python programs. An interactive Q&A session allowed students to ask questions and seek clarification of subject FDS and Python language. Queries related to Fundamentals of Data Structures and Python Language were addressed.
