The Department of Computer Engineering is established in the year 2009. Having started with a four year under-graduate program, B. E. (Computer Engineering), the department now proudly host of the Post Graduate program, M. E. Computer which was initiated in 2013 Department has a CSI Student chapter under which the Department is conducting many technical seminars/workshops, Quiz competitions and other technical activities for the benefit of faculties and students. Department also has collaboration with Oracle, Red hat Academy for training and certification. Department is also associated with CUDA Center, NPTEL FOSS Center and Spoken tutorial.

The department has continuously upgraded the infrastructure according to changing needs of technological environment. Campus network with lease-line connectivity of 350 MBPS is managed by the department and is accessible to all students. Department library is enriched with heaps of books and good collection of reputed International and National Journals, magazines & e-books. Department has collaboration with industries, for bridging the gap between academics and industries. Industry offered projects, trainings, workshops and experts’ lectures which provide excellent exposure to students & faculties. Our students imprinted their success in competitive and other exams like GATE, GRE & GMAT. To unleash students’ talent, every year department organizes technical festivals like ‘TECHNOFEST’. Our students have shown excellence in sports, cultural and social activities. Our students are placed in top companies in India and Abroad. (Infosys, Persistent, Eternus etc) Faculties have showcased their contribution through research projects funded by agencies like BCUD. Department has always shown its commitment towards achieving objectives through individual contribution. It has been established with intake 240 and presently offers undergraduate & post graduate courses with annual intake of 660 and 78 respectively.
